Title: Jared Kushner Hails Israel Strikes on Hezbollah amid Donald Trump's Silence - Newsweek
"Jared Kushner Hails Israel Strikes on Hezbollah amid Donald Trump's Silence"

"The post is quickly retweeted by former ambassador to Israel David Friedman, who is likely to seek a spot in the administration, as well as Wyoming Senator John Barrosso, senior Fox News analyst Brit Hume and and other influential Trump-world voices.
. . .

"He argues that with Hezbollah and Iran reeling, “failing to take full advantage of this opportunity to neutralize the threat is irresponsible.”

“The right move now for America would be to tell Israel to finish the job. It’s long overdue. And it’s not only Israel’s fight,” Kushner adds, noting that Hezbollah has the blood of hundreds of Americans on its hands."

There is an epidemic of “recency bias,” a sub-category of right-wing “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” the opposite of the anti-Trumper’s own TDS, wherein, Trump can do no wrong, and is the only “solution” to the "existential crisis” of possible nuclear war Biden has put us in. With the memories of Trump’s provocations putting us on the brink of nuclear war either forgotten, or more likely, never having penetrated into Trumpite’s “consciousness” as a pro-Trump bias. I am hearing this repeatedly now, from antiwar friends, and people whom I’ve once had greater respect for, than I do now, that this is an “existential election,” with only one alternative to save us from nuclear war, meaning Trump/Vance.”

This article on a “deafening silence” was shared here earlier. But it’s not entirely accurate as there is one prominent American speaking out on the issue of Lebanon, as can be seen in the Kushner article below. So, no, the “deafening silence” is not total. But Kushner’s spoken words are even more reprehensible than silence, though I know few here agree with me, so infatuated are people here for Trump/Vance. Each of whom can be said to be so close to Israel’s fascists, they share one “consciousness/mind” with them:

I think how that accords with his father-in-law’s view, can be seen here, with Trump slavering all over Miriam Adelson, and Israel’s fascists:

And in the identical language Kushner uses to Trump/Vance of, “finish the job.”

A “job” now increasingly clear to mean war on Iran, as Vance called for here: https://www.timesofisrael.com/trumps-vp-pick-vance-gaza-war-should-end-so-israel-and-sunni-states-can-counter-iran/
Vance Quote: “A lot of people recognize that we need to do something with Iran, but not these weak little bombing runs,” said Vance, apparently referring to US strikes on Iranian proxies in the Middle East.
. . .

“If you’re going to punch the Iranians, you punch them hard,” he said, asserting that Trump had done just that when he ordered the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, commander of Iran’s elite Quds Force, in early 2020.”

With Kushner implicitly calling for the same here: "Anyone who has been calling for a ceasefire in the North is wrong. There is no going back for Israel," he said. "They cannot afford now to not finish the job and completely dismantle the arsenal that has been aimed at them. They will never get another chance."

That same “logic” applies to Iran, an “enemy” whom Trump has already waged “kinetic war” against, with his and Netanyahu’s “clandestine war” against Iran, as was reported by the NYT a few years ago. But let Benjamin Netanyahu pay his own tribute to Trump, as he did here:

"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel praised President Trump on Thursday for saying the United States should recognize Israel’s authority over the Golan Heights.

Trump is down to two main wishes to grant to Netanyahu now, having granted all his others during his first administration: Annexation of any remaining Palestinian territory, in Greater Israel, and war against Iran. Neither of which he can do unless he is elected.

So “Vote Trump/Vance,” as the guys waging a “propaganda by omission” campaign of omitting all of Trump’s war crimes/aggressions, while denouncing Biden’s, are working for, so he can "Finish the Job!” As he almost did in his last days in office.

Trump Sought Options for Attacking Iran to Stop Its Growing Nuclear Program

The president was dissuaded from moving ahead with a strike by advisers who warned that it could escalate into a broader conflict in his last weeks in office.

Seven Days in January: How Trump Pushed U.S. and Iran to the Brink of War

"The story of that week, and the secret planning in the months preceding it, ranks as the most perilous chapter so far in President Trump’s three years in office."

The article below explains better than I can how Trump was never about diminishing the risks of U.S. war on Russia, but instead, sought to make it more lethal, and “flexible”:

Trump’s Vision & NATO’s Future: Streamline The Alliance For Modern War

Quote: "This new brand of “come- as-you-are” warfare requires highly trained professionals ready to fight effectively when the hostilities begin. The
unified application of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems, the whole range of cyber and electronic warfarecapabilities, widely dispersed joint strikesystems, and mobile, armored maneuver forcesacross service lines cannot be executed on the fly. To effect change in the way Europeans and Americans think about defense, the President must issue new marching orders to the Department of Defense” (and that’s where Peter Thiel’s Palantir, Anduril, et al., come in, as does Heritage Foundation’s proponency of “Irregular Warfare,” and overwhelming Nuclear superiority, as in the attached file):

Jared Kushner Hails Israel Strikes on Hezbollah amid Donald Trump's Silence - Newsweek

Jared Kushner, a former White House adviser and Donald Trump's son-in-law, has praised Israel's recent attacks against Hezbollah in Lebanon and urged that they now "finish the job."

In a rare post on X, formerly Twitter, Kushner—who is married to Trump's eldest daughter, Ivanka—rejected calls for a ceasefire, stating that Israel will "never get another chance" to eradicate Hezbollah.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in airstrikes on Friday. Trump, who often cites his strong support for Israel, has not yet publicly commented on the killing of Nasrallah.

Newsweek has contacted Trump's campaign team for comment via email.

The situation in Lebanon has escalated in recent days as Israel seeks to eliminate Iran-backed Hezbollah, a key ally of the Palestinian militant group Hamas. This has seen Israel launching massive airstrikes in residential areas of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

"I have spent countless hours studying Hezbollah and there is not an expert on earth who thought that what Israel has done to decapitate and degrade them was possible," Kushner said.

"This is significant because Iran is now fully exposed. The reason why their nuclear facilities have not been destroyed, despite weak air defense systems, is because Hezbollah has been a loaded gun pointed at Israel. Iran spent the last forty years building this capability as its deterrent."

Kushner added that Israel has "mostly neutralized" the threat from Hamas in Gaza and now has the opportunity to "neutralize" Hezbollah in the north.

"Anyone who has been calling for a ceasefire in the North is wrong. There is no going back for Israel," he said. "They cannot afford now to not finish the job and completely dismantle the arsenal that has been aimed at them. They will never get another chance."

Kushner described September 27—the date Israel killed Nasrallah—as "the most important day in the Middle East since the Abraham Accords breakthrough."

The Abraham Accords were diplomatic agreements between Israel and several Arab countries signed in September 2020.

These aimed to normalize their relations as part of an overall goal to tackle ongoing tensions in the Middle East. They was brokered by Trump and Kushner, who was serving as a White House Middle East adviser.

President Joe Biden has described the killing of Nasrallah by Israel as a "measure of justice."

"Nasrallah and the terrorist group he led, Hezbollah, were responsible for killing hundreds of Americans over a four-decade reign of terror," Biden said in a statement.

"The strike that killed Nasrallah took place in the broader context of the conflict that began with Hamas's massacre on October 7, 2023. Nasrallah, the next day, made the fateful decision to join hands with Hamas and open what he called a 'northern front' against Israel."

Biden reiterated he wants to see ceasefires both in Gaza and between Israel and Hezbollah.

"It is time for these deals to close, for the threats to Israel to be removed, and for the broader Middle East region to gain greater stability," Biden said.

Vice President Kamala Harris called Nasrallah a "terrorist with American blood on his hands."

"Across decades, his leadership of Hezbollah destabilized the Middle East and led to the killing of countless innocent people in Lebanon, Israel, Syria, and around the world. Today, Hezbollah's victims have a measure of justice," Harris said.
